The Easby and The Castle. 2 to 4 persons. Whilst these apartments have similar accommodation, namely entrance hall, double bedroom with additional single bed, sitting room with three piece suite and occasional double divan, kitchen/dining room and bathroom/toilet, their style is significantly different. The Easby runs across the front of the house (~1750), and is so called because it looks towards Easby Abbey down the valley. It is quite cottage like which we have reinforced by retention of existing features and tasteful decoration. The Castle runs across the end of the house in the "new wing" (~1800) and is so called because it has a superb view of Richmond Castle and town roof scape, as well as the view towards Easby. This apartment is grander than the Easby with higher corniced ceilings and furnishings in a complimentary style.

Services to each include gas fires, fan heaters, vacuum cleaners and ample hot water. The kitchens have gas cookers, microwave ovens, fridge freezers, toasters and food mixers. The bathrooms with toilet and wash basin have extractor fans, heated towel rail and shaver socket. In the sitting rooms there is an integral TV and DVD. A free laundry service is provided and there is private parking for up to 2 cars for each apartment outside the cobbled courtyard where there is summer house and garden furniture. Prices inclusive of all services range from £220 per week in winter to £370 per week in high summer. (See table in terms of business)

Our Apartment Views from Swaledale Holidays in Richmond

The Garden apartment for 2 persons. This ground floor apartment has level easy walking/wheelchair access from the rear courtyard into the bedroom. Access to the large sitting room at the front of the house is through the bathroom and also has views across the valley to Easby Abbey. These two main rooms are spacious and decorated to show off the original wood work and plaster work. The full central heating, Georgian shutters and ease of access makes the apartment ideal for out of season holidays. The sitting room has a dining area adjacent to a small kitchen. The bedroom can have either twin beds or a king size on request. Services include gas fired central heating, fan heater and vacuum cleaner and ample hot water, gas cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster and food mixer and extractor fans in both the kitchen and bathroom.

In the sitting room there is a integral TV and DVD.A free laundry service is provided and there is private parking for one car outside the cobbled courtyard which has a summer house and garden furniture.
